  • The Angel Tree Ministry is requesting all individuals who would like to sponsor a child(ren) this Christmas to please submit your completed form and donation in the offering plate or the administrative office mailbox following worship services TODAY. The sponsor forms are also available on the table in the lobby and can also be placed in the Angel Tree box. 
  • Forever Young Adult Usher Ministry will meet on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 6:00pm. Young Adults, ages 18 and over, if you are and interested in becoming an usher, we invite you to attend this meeting. We look forward to seeing you!

The NP Food Panty is still in need of A FEW MORE GOOD MEN to go to Gleaners on Tuesday, October 17th to bring food back to the church. The bus leaves the church at 10:15am and we are usually done by 1:00pm. Please consider being one of our NP Pantry Partners and sign-up following both worship services TODAY.

“Funding Your Future”
Ladies Affecting Change Every Day (L.A.C.E.) and Operation HOPE invite you to participate in a financial empowerment workshop at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11, 2017,
1:00pm to 3:00pm. We will give you practical tools for FUNDING YOUR FUTURE. Participants should be ages 14 and up. Both men and woman are welcome. Come prepared to receive information on banking, savings, and credit. There will be food, fun, and financial empowerment! Free credit repair referrals are available for participants that are 18 and up. The Event is Free but you must register on Eventbrite:

  •  The Saturday Outreach Worship service will be held at 3501 Woodward, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 3:00pm. General Mission and Trustees ministries will serve.

 The Christian Education Ministry will hold an open house to showcase their new classes on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 9:30am.

  •   The Community Meal Is Served With Love November 12, 2017 at 4:00pm in S. L. Whitney Fellowship Hall. Volunteers are needed to greet and serve our guests. Wear your “Shine” t-shirts. General Mission and Trustee ministries will serve.
  • Usher Ministry #1 will meet on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 6:00pm.
  • The H.U.G.S. Ministry will meet on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 6:00pm.
  • The Michigan District Nurses will meet at New Prospect on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 6:00pm. 

Thanksgiving Eve worship service will be held

 MEALS ON WHEELS “HUNGER TAKES NO HOLIDAY.” We need volunteers to deliver meals to the homebound on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. Location Site: At The Lighthouse, 19940 Livernois. Please complete the registration form on the lobby table and place it in the General Mission Mailbox.

  • The Church and the Administrative Office will be closed on November 23 and 24, 2017 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Girls in Kindergarten - 12th Grade are welcome to join. 
Meetings are held on 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
We are also in need of volunteers, no specific time commitment required.
